Chelseaia Charran
, Independent Scholar, Trinidad & Tobago. Dr. Chelseaia Charran earned her PhD in Equity and Diversity in Special Education at the University of Texas at Austin in December 2019. Dr. Charran pursued a postdoctoral fellowship in the UNESCO Chair: Early Childhood and Inclusive Intervention at the University of Trois-Rivières at Quebec. Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Charran graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2015. In 2016, she received her Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Charran is passionate about creating more accessible, and inclusive educational opportunities for all learners. She hopes to contribute insight into implementing inclusive education in educational settings.
