Ceronmani Sharmila
Ceronmani Sharmila V.
is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Tamil Nadu, India. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology from Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai, an M.E. in Communication Systems from Anna University, Chennai, and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madras University, Chennai. With over 20 years of academic experience, Dr. Sharmila has held various academic positions, including Professor and Head of the Department at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. She has expertise in Cyber Security, Computer Networks, Image Processing, Cloud Security, and other advanced technology domains. She has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, guided research scholars, and has received several accolades, including the “Women Engineer Award” by IET Professional Society in 2020. Dr. Sharmila has been involved in various industry collaborations and has organized workshops and conferences, focusing on topics like Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Computing. She is a certified professional with credentials from Cambridge, IBM-ICE, and DSCI Privacy Lead Assessor, among others.
