Ceren Ersoy
Ceren Ersoy
is a researcher and academician at Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education, Department of Special Education, where she has served since 2013. Since 2022, she has also been affiliated with the Gazi University Educational Policy Research Center. She completed her undergraduate studies in English Language Teaching at Dokuz Eylül University and pursued graduate studies in the field of giftedness and special education. She earned her first master's degree in Gifted Education from Anadolu University and successfully completed all coursework in the Education of the Mentally Handicapped program at Gazi University. She later obtained her Ph.D. from Gazi University’s Institute of Educational Sciences, with a specialization in the identification of gifted students. Throughout her academic career, Dr. Ersoy has actively contributed to various national and international projects focused on inclusive education, special education, gifted education, and digital learning. Her areas of expertise include the identification and assessment of giftedness, cognitive and metacognitive skills, acceleration and enrichment strategies, technology-assisted learning, curriculum development, teacher competencies and professional development, as well as educational gamification, artificial intelligence in education, virtual reality, creativity, and education policy. She continues to make significant scholarly contributions through numerous conference presentations, published book chapters, and collaborative research projects.
