Catherine Lammert
Catherine Lammert
is Assistant Professor in the Department of Teacher Education at Texas Tech University. She earned her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Language and Literacy Studies at the University of Texas at Austin in 2019, and she served as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the University of Iowa from 2019-2021. Her dissertation titled Inquiry, Advocacy, and Practice-Based Research: Transformative Possibilities in Literacy Preservice Teacher Education was awarded the Dissertation Award for Literacy Excellence by the Research in Reading & Literacy Special Interest group of the American Educational Research Association. Her scholarship focuses on literacy teaching across the disciplines.
