Catarina Castro
Catarina Castro
is a professor in the Neurophysiology Department at the School of Health, Polytechnic of Porto, Portugal. She is a PhD student researching the impact of gestational diabetes on hippocampal formation function, neuroinflammatory response, and neurogenesis, a study currently being conducted at the Department of Biomedicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto. Catarina is also a researcher at the Portuguese Oncology Institute of Porto, where she focuses on identifying neurophysiological predictive biomarkers of oncological chronic pain.
