Carolyn Allen

Carolyn Allen received her PHD in African American Studies from Temple University. She also received a Master of Arts in African American Studies from Temple University and a Master of Social Service degree from Bryn Mawr College. Dr. Allen has 28 years of teaching experience at the university level in both brick-and-mortar and online programs. She is currently Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of the Virgin Islands. Dr. Allen has a personal and academic commitment to the area of Diversity Studies. She has published, delivered a number of professional presentations and developed courses in this area.
