Carlos Alves
Carlos Alves
is currently a PhD researcher at the ALGORITMI Centre, University of Minho, pursuing a doctoral degree in Informatics with a scholarship from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). His research focuses on augmented reality, human-computer interaction, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence. With experience in both academic and corporate sectors, he has contributed to innovation projects in Industry 4.0 with Bosch Car Multimedia and in smart cities in collaboration with public entities. He is also an invited lecturer in the Master's in Digital Transformation at the University of Maia. He holds a degree in Communication and Multimedia from UTAD and a Master’s in Marketing Management from IPAM. He also serves as Head of Communications for ICMarkTech – International Conference on Marketing and Technologies.
