Bouchra Alj

Bouchra Alj is a professor and researcher specialising in the field of management sciences, with over two decades of experience. She has gained international recognition for her contributions to the fields of organisational management, public finance and taxation. Subsequently, she obtained her PhD at Mohammed V University, Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences (FSJES) in Rabat-Agdal, after which she was appointed to the faculty at Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakesh. She subsequently accepted a position at Hassan II University in Casablanca, where she is currently based at the FSJES in Mohammedia. In this capacity, she is responsible for the coordination of the Accounting, Finance and Taxation course, and for the delivery of specialised modules at the bachelor's, master's and PhD levels. These include organisational management, corporate taxation, tax auditing, entrepreneurship and management science research methodology. Moreover, Prof. Bouchra ALJ serves as the head of a research team at the Laboratoire de Recherche en Économie, Management et Stratégies des Organisations (LAREMSO). In this role, she is responsible for leading pioneering research initiatives and for overseeing doctoral dissertations, in addition to undergraduate and postgraduate projects. She guides the team in investigating a range of subjects related to finance, economics, management, and econometrics, employing an interdisciplinary approach to address urgent and relevant issues. In addition to her academic responsibilities, Prof. Bouchra ALJ has authored several books, including works on income taxation in Morocco and organizational management. Additionally, she serves as the co-editor of several forthcoming collective works with IGI Global, which focus on the utilisation of technology in territorial management and sustainable marketing. In her capacity as editor of The Economics & Management Review, a journal included in the IMIST index, she plays an active role in the dissemination of original research, thereby reinforcing the connections between Moroccan researchers and the international scientific community. She is also a member of several scientific and editorial boards for leading academic journals. Her role as a consultant in the private sector enables her to integrate the latest developments in management and taxation within an international context, thereby facilitating the alignment of theoretical and practical approaches. Professor Bouchra ALJ is a prolific contributor to both national and international academic journals, and her research is presented at a number of highly regarded conferences around the globe. Her research interests lie in the fields of management, public finance and taxation, with a particular focus on the psychology of taxation and tax justice. She has also co-authored articles published in English and French, thereby broadening the scope of her contributions. Professor Bouchra ALJ is a highly active member of the national and international academic community. She has been invited to serve on juries and panels at national and international conferences and plays a pivotal role in the organization and leadership of seminars, colloquia and study days, fostering collaboration among dedicated researchers. She regularly contributes to the scientific and evaluation committees of research projects, thereby enhancing her influence in the field of management sciences.
