Ben A. Sutter

Ben A. Sutter has been studying and treating TMJ dysfunction since graduating Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2005. He completed a General Practice Residency at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ in 2006, and currently practices General Dentistry as a solo private practice owner in Eugene, OR. Dr. Sutter sought out advanced education and training to treat both Neuromuscular issues and Dental Occlusion. He completed studies at the Las Vegas Institute, the Piper Education and Research Center, the Perfect Bite Doctor, at TruDenta, and with Equilibration Seminars. He has earned Fellowship status from the Academy of General Dentistry, the Las Vegas Institute, and the Center for Neural Occlusion. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Laser Surgery and was awarded Mastership in the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics. Dr. Sutter has been actively using the T-Scan technology for the past 15 years. He authored and/or co-authored over 38 peer reviewed articles and abstracts on Digital Occlusion and Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR). His clinical, research, and teaching experience brings a wealth of knowledge to any discussion on Physiologic Occlusion. Presently, Dr Sutter is faculty at the Vivos Institute in Denver, Colorado, and is an Adjunct Professor at UNLV School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Clinical Sciences. And for the past several years, he has been the Editor and Chief of dentistry’s premier scientific journal that publishes about Function and Biometrics; Advanced Dental Technologies and Techniques.
