Bashar Nuseibeh
Bashar Nuseibeh is a professor and director of research with the Department of Computing at The Open University, UK. Previously, he was a reader at Imperial College London and head of the Software Engineering Laboratory. His research interests are in software requirements engineering and design, and technology transfer. His research has been recognised through a number of awards, including a 2002 Philip Leverhulme Prize for outstanding international research achievements, a ICSE-2003 Most Influential Paper award, and a 2005 Senior Research Fellowship of the UK Royal Academy of Engineering. He is chair of IFIP Working Group 2.9 and editor-in-chief of the Automated Software Engineering Journal. He is a fellow of the British Computer Society and a chartered engineer.
