PhD RMIT University, Master of Management, Macquarie University, Australia Researching on leadership, gender and workplace wellbeing Dr. Banya Barua is an academic with multiple presentations, workshops, papers, published articles and chapters in management and application of workplace wellbeing programs and leadership development. She is comfortable using qualitative, quantitative and mixed methodologies. She is an adept and empathetic interviewer. She uses her experience in Information and Technology industry in her passion for research on strategic human resources, leadership studies, human centric issues with technology and women at work. Banya is an experienced senior corporate professional. She applies her corporate experience to teach courses on Strategic Human Resources, Workplace wellbeing and people analytics. She works as a social scientist with RMIT University. She lends her expertise on people behaviours, skills and attitudes. She founded EsseMC Pty Ltd – a research-based management consultancy specialising in workplace wellbeing and corporate mindfulness integrating her research areas with her specialisation and special interests.
