Umadevi.B
Associate Professor in Department of Management Studies at R.M.K Engineering College, Chennai. She is MBA with Finance & HR specialisation with UGC Net qualification. She is pursuing Ph.D in the stream of Finance at Anna University. Has a 18 years of experience in handling Finance, HR and Operations Management classes. She too possess few years of corporate experience as Process executive with International exposure.She is a qualified trainer on “Entrepreneurship Development Programme” (Learn-Wise course) by EDII. She has completed IIC’s training program and been certified as Innovation Ambassador.She is a Life Member of “Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE)”. Has wide contributions to profession through many research journals and hold patents on Supply Chain area and Information system field. She is currently exploring research on Artificial Intelligence in Management field. She has received fund for a research project on farming community from Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology under Student Project Scheme during 2024. To her Credit, she has published Indian patents titled, “Programming The Supply Chain Network For Customers With Uncertain Demand”, “Block Chain-Based Shopping Cart” and received Grant for Australian patent titled, “Block Chain Based Rice ATM”. She is been recognized as NPTEL discipline star during the year 2024 for her continuous learning of courses in the field of management.
