Ayten Bengisu Cansever Bayhan
Ayten Bengisu Cansever Bayhan
graduated as the top student of the Department of Public Relations and Publicity at Marmara University, Faculty of Communication. She also completed a double major in the Department of Sociology (English) at the same university, graduating with honors. Following her undergraduate studies, she pursued a master’s degree in the Department of Interpersonal Communication within the Public Relations program at Marmara University Institute of Social Sciences. She successfully defended her thesis titled “Biopolitical Discourse and Narrative in Digital Games: The Case of The Sims 4” and earned her MA degree. She is currently a doctoral student in the Public Relations and Publicity program at Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences. At the same time, she works as a research assistant in the Department of Communication and Design at Istanbul Gelişim University, Faculty of Fine Arts. Her academic interests include neoliberal governmentality, biopolitics, digital game studies, sociology of communication, and new media.
