Aylin Akinlar

Aylin Akinlar , Ph.D. is an assistant professor at Bandirma Onyedi Eylul University, Turkey. She was a Fulbright Scholar at Cornell University from 2009 to 2010 and a lecturer of English at Yildiz Technical University from 2006 to 2020. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on multicultural education, as well as a strong background in curriculum development, equity-minded pedagogy, and instructional design, as well as a passion for improving teaching and learning experiences in higher education gained over 18 years of experience. Her specialized knowledge or areas of interest include curriculum and instruction, multicultural education, international and comparative education, internationalization of higher education, gender equity, teacher careers and development, and qualitative research. Aylin Akinlar, Ph.D. has received many worldwide distinctions, prizes, and awards. She has given international papers and lectures in the United States, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Norway, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, among other places. She is fluent in Turkish and English.
