Ayşegül Nihan Erol Şahin
is an Associate Professor in the Division of History Education at Gazi University's Faculty of Education in Ankara, Turkey. From 2012 to 2022, she was a lecturer in the Department of The Principles of Atatürk and The History of The Revolution Research and Implementation at Gazi University. Her research focused on gamification in history education, digital learning, remote teaching implementations, and using AI in history classes. She has participated in numerous national and international projects to advance history education research and practice. Her academic research has received many citations from articles published in academic journals.
