Avni Remzi Avdiu
Avni Avdiu
was born on January 10, 1973, in Kumanovo, North Macedonia. He completed his primary education in his hometown and his secondary education in Gjilan, Republic of Kosovo, graduating with exemplary success. He earned his degree in philosophy, journalism, and sociology from the University of Pristina. He completed his Master’s studies in media sociology in Tirana, Albania, and holds two doctoral degrees: one in political philosophy from Skopje and another in media sociology from Tirana. He has lectured at the University of Pristina and several private colleges in Kosovo. He is currently a professor at the Department of Media and Intercultural Communication at Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia. With over 30 years of experience in journalism, he has worked as an announcer, journalist, reporter, and translator across various media platforms, including radio, television, newspapers, and magazines, in both Kosovo and North Macedonia. He is the author of five books, three of which focus on media-related topics.
