Avgi Vitanidi
Avgi Vitanidi
has been working in Special Education since 1999, focusing on the design and implementation of psychoeducational intervention programs for children with neurodevelopmental disorders. She holds a degree in Speech Therapy and has completed postgraduate training titled "Specialization of Educators and Special Personnel in Autism," designed and implemented by the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Autistic Individuals. Her professional experience includes working in public institutions and private centers for specialized therapies, conducting individual therapy sessions with children, facilitating the integration of children into school environments, and participating in camps for individuals with disabilities. She is proficient in sign language. Her ongoing professional development includes training in structured education (TEACCH), PECS communication programs, MAKATON, Sensory Integration (SI), the use of play for enhancing social skills (SSIP), and Cognitive Behavioral Drama (CBD). She is also trained in administering ADOS-2 and the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales. Avgi Vitanidi is a member of the Hellenic Scientific Network for ASD.
