Atul P. Sattur
, is a graduate and postgraduate in Oral Medicine and Radiology from the prestigious SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad, Karnataka. Currently, he is working as a Professor with a keen interest in Temporomandibular pathology. He has guided a number of post graduates, most of whom are highly placed in academic institutes and in clinical research centres. He is mentored upon by very well know Academicians and Clinicians from around the world in the field of Biometric technologies and TM joint pathology. He received his Certification on Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR) and International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO) and is a certified provider for Computerized Digital Occlusal technology. He has unceasingly contributed to this field with a large number of research studies, publications especially in The Lancet, The New England Journal of Medicine, Scottish Medical journal, Advanced Dental technologies and techniques to name a few. He is a speaker and an advocate on the role of Biometric technologies implied in the field of temporomandibular disorders. He is a Director of Hubli Dental Imaging Centre, the first Maxillofacial Cone Beam Computed Tomography Centre in North Karnataka and is a life Member of Indian Academy Of Oral Medicine and Radiology (IAOMR), ICCMO and Indian Dental Association (IDA).
