Ashraf Esmail is an Associate Professor Criminal Justice at Dillard University. He the Manager of the Center of Racial Justice at Dillard University. He is a Barron Hilton Criminal Justice Endowed Professor. He is the senior editor of the Journal of Education and Social Justice and Chief Editor of the International Journal of Leadership, Education and Business Studies. He serves on the Board for the National Association of Peace Education and World Association of Academic Doctors. He served as President of the National Association for Peace Education in 2010-2011. He serves on the Louisiana State Criminal Justice Commission. He also serves on New Orleans Police Department Advisory Board and Court Watch Nola. I has worked with the Louisiana Counsel of Offender Resources over the last 5 years.
