Ashley S. Love , DrPH, DHSc, MPH, MS, CPH, ACE-CHC, is the Director of Graduate Studies and an Associate Professor at the University of the Incarnate Word and a lecturer at the University of California - Berkeley Extension. With over 25 years in healthcare education, telehealth, public health leadership, and learning technology innovation, Dr. Love is a nationally recognized expert in integrating digital health technologies and advanced learning methods. She holds advanced degrees from Columbia University and Nova Southeastern University and is a certified online instructor, providing her with a strong foundation in digital and traditional educational environments. Dr. Love’s expertise spans public health program development, AI-driven education solutions, and leadership in healthcare training. As a former State Epidemiologist and Bureau Chief for Delaware, she directed public health initiatives and led large-scale program evaluations that shaped policy and healthcare practice. Her award-winning work in AI-enhanced education includes the Social Innovation Award for advancing inclusive social annotation tools to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in health professional training. A strong proponent of interdisciplinary collaboration and technology in healthcare education, Dr. Love contributes to national boards and has been honored for excellence in teaching, AI applications in education, and social innovation. As an active-duty military spouse for over 20 years, she brings a resilient and global perspective to her work and is dedicated to preparing future healthcare leaders. Her leadership fosters forward-thinking education strategies that equip graduates to thrive in a tech-driven, globally connected healthcare landscape.
