Ashish Raina
is a distinguished academic leader, researcher, and hospitality professional with over 16+ years of experience in hospitality and tourism education. Currently serving as Professor and Dean at the School of Management, Hotel Management, and Design, CT University, Ludhiana, he specializes in curriculum development, industry-academia collaboration, and fostering innovation in hospitality education. With a Ph.D. in Hotel Management focusing on food tourism and destination attraction in Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Raina has published 28+ research papers in international and Scopus-indexed journals, addressing themes like sustainable tourism, digital marketing, and culinary management. He is also recognized with prestigious awards, including the Best Faculty Award, and holds multiple patents on hospitality innovations. A Certified Hospitality Trainer and Advanced Innovation Ambassador, Dr. Raina is listed in the Limca Book of Records for unique culinary achievements and actively advocates for food tourism as a key driver of destination appeal.
