Arnab Gantait

Mr. Arnab Gantait is an independent writer and former UGC Project Fellow. He earned his PGDM from IITTM in 2014 and also qualified UGC-NET. With 3+ years of industry experience, he has published 18 research articles in reputed journals (UGC-Approved/Care listed), as well as in edited books by esteemed publishers such as Springer and IGI Global, amassing 110+ citations. His article, “Rural Tourism: Need, Scope, and Challenges in the Indian Context” has been included in the academic curricula at Uttarakhand Open University, India. Another article, “Conservation and Management of Indian Built Heritages: Exploring the Issues and Challenges,” is part of the suggested reading list for the PhD Heritage Studies program at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi, India. He has presented 16 papers at various conferences, earning one “Best Paper award” at an international conference in 2019. His articles cover topics like Responsible Tourism, Rural Tourism, Pro-poor Tourism, Community-based Tourism, etc. His writings have been featured in Deccan Herald, The Literature Times Magazine etc. Honored with “IRSD Prominent Researcher Award” in 2023, his works are available on Google Scholar, ResearchGate etc.
