Arivarasi A. A.
is currently the Faculty of the School of Electronics Engineering (SENSE), Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai Campus and has around 13 years of industry/IT experience along with nine years of academic cum research experience. Her areas of expertise are sensors, IOT, 3D printing and Machine learning/AI including digital transformation areas. She received her B.E. degree (in 2000) from Vellore Engineering College affiliated to Madras University, Chennai, India, and her Master of Engineering degree from Anna University, Chennai. She pursued her Ph.D. degree from BITS PILANI DUBAI Campus, UAE in 2019. Her Ph.D. thesis focussed on designing & developing innovative process for 3D printing nano sensor for heavy metal sensors . She was the recipient of the Best Student Paper Award of International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Applications 2016, held at University of California, Berkeley, US. She has published nine international journal articles on 3D printing research topics, presented research papers from twelve international conferences on emerging technology oriented topics, published a book chapter for World Scientific publisher on micro/nano 3D printing research and presently the reviewer for top journals - ‘Rapid Prototyping (Emerald)’, ‘Micro-Nano letters’ IET, the journal of engineering, ‘Microsystem Technologies (Springer®).
