Arif Husen
Arif Husen
holds a PhD from COMSATS University Islamabad, where his research focused on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for future generations of networks and communications. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of computer communications and networks, spanning both industry and academia. Throughout his career, Arif has led major initiatives in fixed and wireless networks, network virtualization, IP/MPLS and optical network performance, cloud and IPv6 transformation, next-generation network transitions, network optimization, health checks, and capacity planning. His areas of expertise also include technology strategy, ICT regulation, and network infrastructure transformation. He has worked with a range of multinational organizations, including Oliveic Systems (Pakistan), Etisalat (UAE), STC (KSA), Detecon (KSA), Packages (Pakistan), and IEC (Pakistan), contributing to strategy, design, development, and operations. Arif also holds numerous industry certifications, such as CCNA, CCDA, and CCSP from Cisco, as well as certifications from Juniper, Huawei, ZTE, Fortinet, and Alcatel-Lucent.
