Arfa Masihuddin
, as a physician and health policy specialist, is passionate about improving healthcare systems to prioritize humanistic, patient-centered approaches. Her expertise lies at the intersection of academic leadership, quality management, and innovative healthcare solutions. She is the founder of Rufayda—Care for Healthcare, a consultancy dedicated to enhancing the organizational well-being of healthcare providers and advancing accessible mental health services. Her entrepreneurial spirit extends to Walking Thoughts, a platform offering narrative medicine workshops, personal statement and ERAS consultations, and English language coaching. She has also served as a senior lecturer at the Institute of Business Management, guiding MBA students in courses on quality management, healthcare leadership, service delivery, health psychology, and health management information systems. She has been fortunate to receive accolades such as the Global Student Award for Impact & Innovation at Aga Khan University, where she earned her master’s in health policy and management. Whether it's through innovative teaching, writing, or consulting, her mission is to bridge the gap between policy, practice, and people in healthcare.
