Anthony Thomas Baker
Anthony Baker
is Emeritus Professor at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). At UTS Professor Baker held posts such as Chair of the Academic Board and Head, School of Chemistry and Forensic Science. He has long been involved in quality assurance in higher education through his appointments at UTS and through his membership of the New South Wales Higher Education Advisory Committee, as an auditor for the Australian Universities Quality Agency and as a current Member of the Register of Experts of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). Professor Baker is an acknowledged expert in governance in higher education and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD).
