Annette Sullivan
Annette Sullivan
is an Associate Professor of Education at Fitchburg State University. She holds a Massachusetts Educator license in Elementary Education (1-6) and taught 12 years in public schools before earning her doctorate in Language Arts and Literacy (K-12) at UMASS Lowell and joining the Education Department faculty at Fitchburg State University. Annette has taught multiple undergraduate and graduate courses, including language arts, social studies, and math methods courses, during her tenure. She has supervised many student teachers and taught the practicum or student teaching seminar. Annette continues to work closely with a Fitchburg Public School teacher to model teaching for her teacher candidates and to provide them with field experiences where they can put theory into practice. Her research interests include student writing, children’s literature, and teaching pedagogy.
