Anne Sithuvili Hettiarachchige Done
’s academic and research interests focus on biomedical sciences, with particular emphasis on clinical microbiology, diagnostic medicine, and translational research. Currently a biomedical sciences student at Coventry University, she has developed strong foundations in microbiology, virology, immunology, and clinical biochemistry. Her work explores laboratory-based diagnostic approaches, antimicrobial resistance, and public awareness of antibiotic misuse, especially within low- and middle-income healthcare settings. She has gained exposure to regulated laboratory environments and quality-focused testing frameworks. Sithuvili is interested in innovative biomedical technologies, including novel therapeutics and vaccine development, and aims to bridge scientific research with practical healthcare applications to generate meaningful societal impact.
