Ankur Kumar Rastogi
With over 26 years of diverse experience in academia and industry, Dr. Ankur Kumar Rastogi is currently an Associate Professor of Marketing at the School of Management, Avantika University, part of the MIT Pune Group, located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. His educational qualifications include a Master of Marketing Administration from Jiwaji University, a Master of Business Administration from IGNOU, and a Doctorate in Management from Singhania University. To further enhance his expertise, he has completed various online short-term courses in marketing from globally renowned institutions such as the University of Sydney, EIT Digital, the University of California, the University of London, the University of Virginia, the University of Rochester, the University of Illinois, and the Copenhagen Business School. Additionally, he has successfully completed the Five-Week Faculty Development Program at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore.
Dr. Rastogi’s professional journey spans prestigious academic institutions and corporate organizations across India. His areas of expertise include Marketing, Digital Marketing, Sales, Branding, Consumer Behavior, Retail, and Marketing Channels. His scholarly contributions are reflected in his research papers published in esteemed journals and presentations at reputed national and international conferences, including engagements at IIMs and events in Japan, the United Kingdom, UAE, and other countries.
Dr. Rastogi is the author of two significant books: Handbook on E-Marketing, published by Scientific International Publishing House (SIPH), registered under the Ministry of SME, Government of India, in 2023, and Supply Chain and Marketing of Fruits and Vegetables, published by LAP, Germany, in 2015. He has guided numerous management scholars in their research and dissertations, with many earning doctorate degrees under his mentorship.
In addition to academia, Dr. Rastogi has served as a resource person for executive and dealer training programs for organizations such as IOCL and HPCL, specializing in sales promotion, marketing strategies, and business development. His exceptional contributions to education and mentorship have earned him accolades such as the Rashtriya Gaurav Award (2010) from the IIFS, New Delhi, and the Most Dedicated Professor Award (2018) under the Global Award category by the World Education Congress, Mumbai.
Dr. Rastogi is also a distinguished ATL Mentor of Change under the Atal Innovation Mission by NITI Aayog, Government of India, and serves on the advisory boards of several national and international organizations. His passion for fostering innovation and knowledge-sharing makes him an invaluable mentor, advisor, and consultant for corporates and educational institutions.
