Anjana Rajapakshe
Anjana Rajapakshe
is a Lecturer in Animation and Visual Effects at Norwich University of the Arts, United Kingdom. She is a VFX generalist specializing in rigging, with expertise across modelling, animation, compositing, and creature workflows. Before joining academia, she worked as an Assistant Director in film production, experiences that continue to shape her production-oriented teaching practice. Anjana has contributed to industry-academic collaborations such as Ice Age: A Frozen World (October Films), where she developed a Smilodon rig through research-based design. Her current research explores Python-based rigging tool development, modular systems, and cross-cultural storytelling through creative animation projects.
