Anjan Bhuyan
Anjan Bhuyan
is currently a faculty member in the Department of Business Administration at Tezpur University, Assam, India. With over a decade of teaching experience, he specializes in Managerial Economics, Entrepreneurship, International Business, Tourism Management, and Corporate Social Responsibility. His core expertise lies in entrepreneurial education and training, rural development issues, tourism-related planning and project evaluation, and applied economic analysis. Professor Bhuyan's research focuses on development issues in rural economies, entrepreneurial behavior in changing socio-economic scenarios, tourism economics, cross-border trade, and international business perspectives from developing countries. He has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals, contributing significantly to discussions on sustainable livelihoods, rural entrepreneurship, and agricultural practices. In addition to his teaching and research activities, Professor Bhuyan has been actively involved in various projects and committees, including those sponsored by the UGC and other national bodies. He is a member of several professional organizations, such as the Guwahati Management Association, the North East Economic Review, and the North East India Commerce and Management Association. He is also an advisory committee member for several academic journals and publications. Professor Bhuyan's work has been instrumental in shaping the discourse on sustainable development and entrepreneurship in North-East India.
