Anita Medhekar
Anita Medhekar
is a senior lecturer in economics and holds a PhD from Deakin University, Australia. She has completed her double master’s in education and pure Economics from Pune University and University of New England, Australia. She has taught at undergraduate and post graduate levels in India, Indonesia, and Australia and has more than 30 years of teaching and research experience. Currently, she is teaching at Central Queensland University, Australia. Her research interests are in applied International Trade, Tourism Economics, Health Economics, Domestic and International Medical Travel, Medical Ethics and Regulation, Digital/e-Health, Gender and Development Economics, Asia-Pacific Economies, Public Finance, South-Asian Economies, Australian Economy, Bilateral Trade and Development for Peace, Supply Chains, Public Policy, and Public-Private Partnerships. She has presented papers at numerous international conferences and received best research paper awards. Anita has numerous refereed publications in journals, conference proceedings, with edited books, and book chapters to her credit.
