Anindita Das
Anindita Das
is an esteemed Associate Professor at the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), Gwalior, with a distinguished career in teaching, research, and sports. Since joining LNIPE in 2007, she has been actively engaged in teaching core subjects such as Health Education, Physiology, and Football (practical). Dr. Das has made significant academic contributions through her authorship of numerous research papers in Scopus, patents, books and chapters in the field of physical education and sports sciences. She has published over twenty research articles in reputed national and international journals and has presented her work at a wide array of conferences. Notably, she presented papers at the Pre-Olympic Congress in Liverpool, UK (2012) and the World Congress on Kinanthropometry in Santiago, Chile (2018). A recipient of international training, Dr. Das completed a 3-month International Coaching Course (ICC) in General Conditioning at Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary, in 2009, further enriching her academic and practical expertise. Beyond academics, Dr. Das is a former athlete who has passionately contributed to women's football. She was a four-time member of her university's intervarsity women’s football team and won a bronze medal in the All India Intervarsity Women Football Tournament in 2002. She also represented Madhya Pradesh in the National Women’s Football Championship and played a key role when her team participated in the 1st Khelo India University Games (KIUG) held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, in February 2020. Dr. Das continues to inspire students and peers alike with her commitment to excellence in physical education, research, and sports development.
