Dr.
Aneesha Shams
is a senior legal academic and institutional leader with over two decades of experience in legal education, research, and public engagement. As Principal of the Cooperative School of Law, Thodupuzha, she has driven a remarkable transformation in academic standards, institutional culture, and community outreach. Under her leadership, the school has achieved top university rankings, initiated the NAAC accreditation process, and established centers focused on mediation, legal aid, and skill development. Her innovative projects—including a POCSO campaign across tribal regions, anti-drug awareness initiatives, and family support programs—demonstrate a deep commitment to both academic excellence and social justice. Holding a Ph.D. in Business and Human Rights along with dual LL.M. degrees, Dr. Aneesha is a widely published scholar and recognized speaker in areas such as corporate accountability, gender justice, and human rights law. She has led major academic events, designed certification courses, moderated international panels, and built strategic partnerships with legal and educational institutions. A trained mediator and resource person for legal awareness programs, she integrates rigorous scholarship with action-oriented leadership.
