Andi Sukri Syamsuri
Andi Sukri Syamsuri
, A.Md., S.Pd., M.Hum. is a prominent academic and educator, born on June 26, 1971, in Kabupaten Wajo, Indonesia. He is currently a Professor at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, where he has made significant contributions to the fields of Indonesian language and literature education. Prof. Syamsuri earned his Doctorate in Indonesian Language from Universitas Hasanuddin in 2006, following his Master's degree in the same discipline in 1997. His extensive career includes various leadership roles, such as Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education and Vice Rector at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. He has been actively involved in research, focusing on pedagogical competencies and the integration of local culture into educational materials, with numerous publications in reputable journals. Prof. Syamsuri has also participated in numerous national and international seminars, contributing his expertise on language education and cultural preservation. His commitment to community service is evident through initiatives aimed at enhancing literacy and educational quality. He has received several accolades, including the Satya Lencana award from the President of Indonesia for his dedication to education. His scholarly work and leadership continue to influence the advancement of language education in Indonesia.
