Aliza J. Aldana
Aliza Aldana
is a PhD student in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at the University of Calgary. Working in the Individual and Team Performance (ITP) lab under Dr. Thomas O’Neill’s supervision, Aliza's research is focused on virtual and hybrid teamwork. Her master's thesis investigated experiences of interdependent teamwork in hybrid work teams. Aliza's other research interests include equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, and high performance teamwork in other team types. Her work in the ITP lab also involves regular teamwork facilitations for university-level student teams embarking on team projects. As a certified teacher, Aliza also brings nearly a decade of experience with instructional design and execution.
