Ali Intezari
Ali Intezari (PhD) is an Associate Professor at UQ Business School, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. He specializes in the study of Wisdom, Decision-making, and Knowledge Management, with a focus on the impact of emerging technologies on human decision-making. His peer-reviewed research appears in the very top international journals such as Decision Sciences, International Journal of Information Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Internet Technology & People, Journal of Knowledge Management, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Journal of Management Inquiry, Business & Society, and The International Journal of Human Resource Management. His body of work has also attracted attention from external stakeholders. This is evidenced in the publication (by invitation) for business magazines in the USA, Australia, and New Zealand. A.Prof. Intezari has won multiple teaching and research awards. He is the lead author of the book, “Wisdom, Analytics and Wicked Problems: Integral decision-making in and beyond the information”, and the co-editor of “Practical Wisdom in the Age of Technology: Insights, Issues and Questions for a New Millennium”, “Practical Wisdom, Leadership, and Culture: Indigenous, Asian, and Middle-Eastern Perspectives”, “Leadership: Regional and Global Perspectives”, and “Elgar Encyclopaedia of Wisdom Research”. Dr Intezari is the Associate Editor of the Journal of Management & Organization, and the editorial board member of Journal of Knowledge Management, International Journal of Knowledge Management, and the Journal of Business Ethics Education. He is the co-editor of the book series “The Practical Wisdom in Leadership and Organization Series” (Routledge).
