Alfonso Annunziata
Alfonso Annunziata
is a researcher and academic specializing in urban and environmental planning. He holds a PhD in Architecture from the University of Cagliari, where he completed his dissertation on urban renewal strategies. He also earned his degree in Building Engineering-Architecture from the same university with highest honors. Annunziata has a robust professional background, including roles as a tutor and lecturer at the University of Cagliari and as a researcher at the LEAP (Laboratorio Internazionale sul Progetto Ambientale) at the University of Sassari. He has been awarded the Italian National Scientific Qualification to function as an Associate Professor in Urban and Regional Planning (Sector 08/F1) since 2022. In addition to his academic appointments, Annunziata serves as an Assistant Editor for the journal “City, Territory and Architecture” with Springer Open and as Managing Assistant for the “Metodi del Territorio/Saggi” series by FrancoAngeli. He has contributed extensively to the field through numerous scientific articles in top-tier journals. His recent publications explore various aspects of urban planning and sustainability, including the development of 15-minute cities and the socio-spatial dynamics of historic urban areas.
