Ajayan Kamalasanan
Ajayan Kamalasanan
is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience spanning over 12 years in the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation at the Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in Saudi Arabia. His expertise as an internal reviewer and consultant of academic quality management for the university and its academic programs is backed by his previous role as a Senior Research Officer in a health research organization in India, where he managed national and international multicenter epidemiologic studies in lifestyle diseases for over 17 years. His academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Business Administration specializing in Healthcare Quality Management and two master's degrees (MBA and M.Sc.). In 2021, the Education & Training Evaluation Commission-National Center for Academic Accreditation and & Evaluation, Saudi Arabia, certified him as an academic quality practitioner. He also holds Lean and Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification and certification of proficiency in Entry Level National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) Standards, further underscoring his competence. His research interests, which include quality management in higher education, healthcare quality management, and epidemiology, are emphasized by his various publications in highly indexed journals.
