Ahu Acar Guven
Dr.
Ahu Acar Güven
is a faculty member at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Final International University and also serves as a visiting lecturer at Bahçeşehir University. She earned her PhD in Business Administration (Marketing) from Bahçeşehir University in 2023, with a doctoral dissertation focusing on global marketing strategy. She completed her MSc in Global Business and Marketing at Bahçeşehir University in 2011 and received her BSc in Business Administration (English) from Dokuz Eylül University in 1996. She graduated from Bornova Anatolian High School in 1992. Dr. Ahu Acar Güven has over 25 years of professional experience in the banking sector, having worked at both local and global banks, including UniCredit Group and QNB. Throughout her career, she held senior roles in sales and trade finance departments and most recently served for nearly a decade as Head of Trade Finance Sales and Product Management before concluding her banking career. She teaches Global Marketing, Export–Import Management, and Current Issues in Marketing. Her academic interests include global marketing strategy, global consumer behavior, and cultural dynamics in international markets. In addition to her academic work, she serves as a marketing advisor at Iris System Design, a family-owned, export-oriented manufacturing firm, where she is actively involved in strategic marketing and international market development. She is fluent in English and Italian.
