Afzalur Rahman
Afzalur Rahman
is a distinguished Professor of Commerce at Woxsen University, Hyderabad, with over 14 years of expertise in Finance and FinTech. He holds a PhD in Accounts from Patna University (2011) and an Executive MBA in Finance from VM University (2008). His teaching encompasses advanced courses such as Quantitative Finance with Python, Machine Learning in Equity Research, Financial Modeling, and Advanced FinTech. Dr. Rahman has developed algorithmic trading applications on platforms like Kite-Zerodha and Alice Blue, fine-tuned a 7B-parameter LLM for financial predictions, and authored 33 publications on cryptocurrency, blockchain, and AI in sustainable finance. He has published books on strategic financial management and guided two PhD scholars. Proficient in Python, R, cloud technologies, and SAP FICO, he has led international certifications, MOUs, and conferences, fostering industry-academia collaborations.
