Avanika Aeniyara V.
is a student pursuing a BSc in Psychology (Hons) at PES University in Bengaluru. She possesses a keen interest in the field of social psychology, with particular emphasis on the study of the self as an evolving and relational concept. She is drawn towards psychotherapy, with a fascination for narrative, Gestalt and existential approaches that are informed by neuropsychological perspectives. Inspired by the person-centred philosophy of Carl Rogers, she values empathy, autonomy, authenticity, and the therapeutic relationship in facilitating meaningful change, and seeks to utilise these values to help individuals achieve meaningful growth.
