Dr.
Abhishek Kar
is a dedicated academician and researcher in the field of Hospitality and Hotel Management, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management, Kolkata. With a Ph.D. in Hospitality Management and a strong academic foundation from institutions like CT University, Central University of Haryana, and IHM Bhubaneswar, he brings both depth and breadth to his teaching and research. His scholarly contributions include several research papers published in reputed national and international journals, focusing on topics such as customer satisfaction in online food delivery, HRM practices, and sustainability in tourism. Dr. Kar has also contributed extensively to academic literature through numerous book chapters, exploring areas such as AI in hospitality, service automation, and destination marketing. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Kar holds multiple patents reflecting his innovative approach to hospitality technology and sustainability. Known for his proactive involvement in academic events, he has successfully coordinated and participated in various conferences, FDPs, and national-level hospitality competitions. Dr. Kar is passionate about blending traditional hospitality values with emerging trends and technologies, aiming to equip students and industry professionals with future-ready skills.
