Abdellatif El Aidi

Dr. Abdellatif El Aidi is Associate Professor of English at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences Sais-Fes (FLHS), Sidi Mohamed Ben Andellah University, Fes, Morocco, and a member of the AMERLA-DCCS Research Laboratory. His research focuses on postcolonial studies, cultural theory, Francophone literary representations of Morocco, and women’s studies, with particular attention to Orientalism, power dynamics, and colonial discourse. He has published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on these areas of research, including a recent book review in the European Journal of Cultural Studies. He has presented his work at international conferences both inside and outside Morocco. He is the founder and chair of the FLHS Annual International Conference on Language, Literature, and Culture and currently serves as the English Department Coordinator and Project Coordinator for the Rosetta Stone Implementation Initiative. He is also a member of the FLHS Scientific and Pedagogical Committees for the 2024–2026 term.
