Abayomi Moradeyo Otebolaku
Dr Abayomi Otebolaku received his Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering (Electrical and Computer Engineering) from Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, specializing in Mobile Computing and Context-Aware Personalization.
Presently, he is with the Department of Computer Science, Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), United Kingdom. Prior to joining LJMU, Dr Otebolaku was a Senior Researcher in the Department of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics, University of Aveiro, where he participated in high-impact European research projects. For over 6 years, he was a research engineer at the Center for Telecommunications and Multimedia, INESC TEC, Portugal, where he executed research work in context awareness, context-based mobile multimedia personalization and context-aware user preferences. He also acquired experience working in the industry.
He has broad and extensive technical knowledge in mobile and context-aware computing. His contributions have been published in high-impact journals, book chapters, and reputable thematic conference proceedings. His research interests include among others context-aware computing, mobile sensing, Internet of Things and context–aware personalization.
