Saravanan A
serves as an Assistant Professor(Sr.G) in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Kongu Engineering College in Erode, India. Since his appointment in 2013, he has established himself as a dedicated educator and researcher. He holds undergraduate degrees in Automobile Engineering and a postgraduate degree in CAD/CAM within mechanical engineering. His expertise encompasses a broad range of areas including automobile engineering, computer-aided design (CAD), manufacturing, and ergonomics. He has made substantial contributions to academic literature, authoring over 17 research articles and book chapters in renowned journals and conferences. In addition to his research and teaching responsibilities, he plays a multifaceted role at the institution. He is actively involved in various academic and administrative functions, overseeing cells, clubs and laboratories. He also engages in consultancy work for various companies, contributing his expertise to real-world applications. Notably, he spearheaded the installation of a 300 kW solar panel system at the college, showcasing his dedication to sustainable practices and innovation. Through his diverse contributions, he continues to make a significant impact on both the academic community and the industry.
