Lokesh Kumar
K.N. Lokesh Kumar
is currently working as assistant professor in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Assam University (A Central University), Silchar, Assam. He has about 10 years of teaching experience. He completed his MBA from Prestigious Indian institute of tourism and travel management, Gwalior (An autonomous institute under Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India). He is a UGC, NET& JRF holder in Tourism Management, Gold Medallist & S.K. Mishra merit awardee in MBA (Tourism & Travel). His areas of interest include tour operations, Travel agency, Airline operations and Management, Destination Marketing and Human resource in tourism. He has to his credit 05 publications and also 04 Published chapters in books and 10 participated national and international conferences. He developed E-content for Entrepreneurship in Tourism, Research Methods in Tourism to Centre for Distance Education, Acharya Nagarjuna University, developed the E-Content for the Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management (TTM) course which is being offered by the MOOCs Platform ANU and also edited the self-learning material for Board of Open Schooling & Skill Education (BOSSE), Sikkim. In addition, he also completed Basic Mountaineering course from Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (ABVIMAS), Manali, Himachal Pradesh. With regards to tourism activities and other related assignments he had travelled extensively in States of India and abroad to countries like Thailand and Taiwan
