Special Note
In an effort to concentrate and expand IRMA's current core strengths of making scholarly research contributions through its current 32 official journals, the leadership of IRMA regrettably has decided to immediately discontinue its annual IRMA international conferences. We firmly believe that this move will allow IRMA to become a more formidable force in shaping the research directions of information technology resources management discipline and to continue serving the research community more effectively in this ever growing field.
The organization of IRMA will continue to facilitate the growth of advancements and developments in the field of Information Science and Technology through its membership services, IRMA-L listserv communication channels and through IRMA scholarly publications. These resources aim to maintain the discussion of new research in IS&T, as well as provide an outlet for researchers to remain abreast of current findings and forthcoming innovation.
With the cancellation of the annual IRMA conferences, a separate entity, the 2008 International Conference on Information Resources Management was created in hopes of carrying on this esteemed tradition.
Conf-IRM 2008 will be held at the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel and Conference Centre from May 18-20, 2008 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
