Description

The International Journal of Telework and Telecommuting Technologies is an interdisciplinary journal that serves as an arena where scholars, professionals, organizations can exchange ideas about the nature, goals, strengths, and weaknesses of telework. The journal encourages research that improves existing teleworking and telecommuting strategies to allow professionals worldwide to work and grow while also being protected. The place of human factors in telework is central to the journal and the future of work and management technologies is also discussed in this endeavor.


Mission

The goal of International Journal of Telework and Telecommuting Technologies is to facilitate the transfer of knowledge between disciplines and encourage the use of technology and telework to spearhead the creation of new methodologies. The relation between work and technology is not only evident but growing exponentially. Technology and telework are human driven, and a need exists to understand the interaction between both dimensions.
