Author's/Editor's Biography

Sergey Zykov
Sergey V. Zykov holds an MSc (1994) and a PhD (2000) in Computer Science from the National Nuclear Research University MEPhI, and a Dr. Habil. Degree (2017) in Computer Science from the Ufa State Aviation Technical University (formal models and methods of enterprise software systems integration). He has a 25-year experience in IT, including 2 years as a Vice-CIO of the ITERA International Oil & Gas Group. He also has a 25-year experience in teaching computer science and software engineering, and holds instructor certificates in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a PGCert in Higher Education from the London School of Economics. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, and National Nuclear Research University MEPhI. He is also a Research Fellow at the First Moscow State Medical University of the Ministry of Health, and at the Innopolis University. In 2014-2015 he served as a Visiting Researcher at the Software Engineering Department, School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University (USA). He delivered invited courses at the Chemnitz University of Technology (Germany), and the Chitkara University (India). He authored over 10 books including Crisis Management for Software Development and Knowledge Transfer (Springer, 2016), Managing Software Crisis: A Smart Way to Enterprise Agility (Springer, 2018), and contributed to Encyclopedia of Information Science and Technology (IGI, 2018, 10 Volumes), Advanced Research on Biologically Inspired Cognitive Architectures (2017, IGI). He also authored over 100 papers, and 7 massive open online courses by Coursera and edX on computer science and software engineering. He serves as an Associate Editor of the Intelligent Decision Technologies, and of the International Journal of Knowledge-Based and Intelligent Engineering Systems. His primary research fields include: enterprise software development, enterprise application integration, data modeling, and web portals.

Alexander Gromoff
Alexander I. Gromoff has current position of professor and BPM chairman of The National Research University “Highest Economics School”, as well he is the member of European technical committee ERCIS and leader of subcommittee “Process management standardization” in Rosstandard RF. He is lecturing in universities and actively consulting in different projects from aerospace area to civil utilities. He has gotten master degree in Moscow Physical-Engineering Institute in field of cybernetics and PhD degree in Moscow Lomonosov’s State University in field of enzyme engineering. In Soviet period, he was senior researcher in MSU in area of mathematical simulation application and reader in Chemistry department. In early 90-es he has founded consultancy firm “Upstream Consulting” and was nominated several times in the list of ‘the most influential persons of IT community in RF’. His latest book “Modern methods of BPM” (Uright 2017) was sold-out in 6 moths and asked for reprinting. His particular field of interests and research includes: application of entropy calculus to the process management and control; enterprise architecture and business process automation; robotic process automation; digital transformation and its impact on sociology; application of reflexivity in business management and indeed modernity in architecture and art.

Nikolay Kazantsev
Nikolay Kazantsev is a researcher, lecturer from National Research University “Higher School of Economics” (NRU HSE). His specialty covers broad scope of information management topics, esp. connection between management and IT practices, short-term B2B collaboration opportunities and cross-cultural factors. Nikolay got his master from the University of Muenster (Germany). His endeavour is business processes optimization for maximizing competitiveness of Russian companies.
